well..basically I’m going to reveal one of my favourite chocolate recipes. So easy to bake and perfect for any occasion.

the best part of baking these chocolate beauties is when you eat them, I’m not going to lie to you..and the worst part is waiting those 20min. staring at them while the house smells like heaven!

makes about 12

· ingredients ·

200g unsalted butter

300g caster sugar

1 lg free-range egg

275g self-raising flour

75g cocoa powder

splash of milk

one bar of milk chocolate

one bar of white chocolate


· step by step ·

preheat the oven at 220ºC and prepare two trays with baking paper.

grab a bowl and mix the soften butter and the sugar, until is pale and fluffy.

add an egg and keep mixing, until the batter is well combined.

in another bowl mix the sift flour and the cocoa powder.

throw the dry mix in to the batter.

add a splash of milk to soften the dough.

finally add little pieces of milk chocolate to the dough.

scoop the dough in about 12 balls and hide in the middle of each one a big piece of white chocolate.

put in to the oven for 10min. and leave it cool for about 20min. if you can wait..


· tips ·

you can also add pieces of dark chocolate into the dough, but if you don’t feel like you want to die because of an overdose of chocolate you can substitute all the pieces for pecans or peanuts or whatever you feel like that day.

eat them straight away, after waiting as I told you, to have a cookie with a crunchy outside and chewy inside.
